West Tyrone Sinn Féin Councillor Glenn Campbell has welcomed news that DFI Roads plan to carry out repair work on St. Dympna's Road in Dromore. This follows representations he made to DFI Roads on behalf of local residents.

"I welcome the news that DFI Roads are planning 'plaining and resurfacing' of St. Dympna's Road in Dromore. The road is in dire need of repair, so any work that can be done to address some of the concerns that were raised will be welcomed by local residents."

"Recently, I reminded DfI Roads of a number of issues affecting the safety of Road users travelling this road. Whilst the planned works will not fully address all the concern raised, any work that can be done now will provide some improvements. I will continue to raise the concerns of local people in relation to other work not being done in the planned scheme.
