Speaking after making representation to DfI Roads on behalf of local residents, Cllr Campbell said,

"I have been contacted by residents in Muldoon Park, Dromore, concerned that there is a lot of weeds growing at the entrance to the park on the Dooish Road. I have asked DfI Roads to address this matter.

Also commenting on the poor road surface and the need for speed calming on the Dooish Road, approaching the entrance to Muldoon Park, Cllr Campbell continued,

" I have also previously raised the condition of the road in Muldoon Park and I would ask DfI Roads again to address the poor road surface. The safety of motorists and pedestrians at the entrance remains an ongoing concern. When I raised this several times in the past, I was advised that there is no funding available for speed calming on the Dooish road and other parts of Dromore. I would urge DfI to reconsider as there is an urgent need for speed calming at this junction and other parts of Dromore that I have previously highlighted."
