Cllr Campbell said,

"People in Dromore, Trillick and across West Tyrone are shocked and saddened by the death of popular local man, Barry McQuaid, following a tragic accident at work. It's such a shock to the community and an awful tragedy for any family to come to terms with. Barry was a very hard-working, conscientious young man who was meticulous in everything he did.

"He was well known and highly respected locally. He had a bright future ahead of him and people are struggling to come to terms with the news of his tragic death.

Continuing, Cllr Campbell said,

"Words fail us all when faced with such an unimaginable tragedy. But Dromore is a strong and supportive community, and people will rally round to help and support the family at this sad and difficult time.

Concluding, Cllr Campbell said,

"On behalf of the local community I'd like to extend sincere condolences to Barry's wife and family, his parents, grandmother, wider family circle and his many friends, who have been devastated by his untimely death."
