Mid Tyrone Sinn Féin Councillor Anne Marie Fitzgerald has welcomed the announcement from Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy that a £230,000 Improvement Scheme on the Drumnakilly Road will begin on Tuesday 18th March.

Councillor Fitzgerald said,

"I welcome the £230,000 improvement scheme for the Drumnakilly Road, which will see major re-surfacing between the Comber Road and Cranny Road Roundabout. This is brilliant news to people who live on and travel this road daily, greatly improving the road surface which will make it a lot safer to travel, particularly during adverse weather."

"The improvements are expected to be complete by Monday 31st March, with diversions in place by Racolpa Road, Killyclogher Road and the Hospital Road, from Tuesday 18th March 7am to 5pm each day."
